What does the cover do?
Our Engineering insurance is designed to help protect your business against your operations being stopped due to issues with your machinery, plant and equipment. You'll often find that insurance will cover things like flood, fire and theft, but our Engineering insurance will also cover:
- Sudden, accidental and unforeseen damage - for example if one of your employees makes an error in operating the machine and damages the equipment.
- Should a piece of your machinery explode or collapse, we can help to safeguard against the cost of replacing the equipment or any damage it causes to property.
- Machinery or plant breakdowns so you can get back up and running.
- Protection against financial loss is available through our Business Interruption cover.
