We're pleased to confirm the appointment of Johan Slabbert* as Managing Director, Aviva Global Corporate & Specialty (GCS) and CEO, Aviva Syndicates.
Johan will join on 1 December 2026, reporting into Jason Storah, CEO, UK & Ireland General Insurance.
He'll be responsible for leading our Global Corporate & Specialty (GCS) business across the UK and international markets, excluding the US and Canada; overseeing strategic direction and profitable growth, helping deliver Aviva’s ambitions across the Lloyd's and global specialty markets.
Johan brings more than 30 years of international insurance experience across personal, commercial and specialty lines, including significant experience in the Lloyd’s market.
